USA reflects

I believe that the U.S.A does not reflect this opinion because the poem is talking about the Statue of Liberty however, it's really describing America. One part in the poem says, "From her beacon hand glows world-wide welcome.." After September 11 had happened, I don't think they welcome a lot people because they don't know who's good or bad. America is worried about themselves and what others might do to the country. For example, since the terrorists in 9/11 made an unfortunate memory, America is more cautious about everything.
