Here at our shore line, the sunshine appearing
A headstrong woman with a burning flame
That's lighting up her name
Shining from her hand
Glows with her welcoming, her eyes in demand
Then to buildings that frame the city
We have our own, no need for yours
Hand me your tired, less fortunate,
and crowds of people needing to be free
The trash of your shore
Send those in need to me
