"Colossus"

Not like the bold well known
With outstretched hands across the land;
Across our shores, great bridges stand
An Amazon with a torch, whose light
Is everlasting, and is known as
Mother of those Banished. From her lit-hand
Sends world-wide welcome; her gentle eyes tell
Of her great country and setting.
"Keep your Ferrari's, your Bentley's, your Rolls" she cries
Unspoken. "Give us your unwealthy,
The ones in need who are struggling,
What some may consider junk.
Send these people to our open shores
So that we know to shine a light on our gates."
